Privacy Policy

This policy is being finalised

Snipvio has not launched publicly yet. The full policy, reviewed against GDPR and similar rules, will be published here before we accept any payments. What follows describes what the product actually does today.

What we collect

  • Your account: name, email, and either a hashed password or a Google sign-in reference.
  • Your links: the destinations you shorten and any settings you apply to them.
  • Click events: for each visit to one of your links we record a timestamp, approximate country, device type, and referring site.

What we do not collect

  • We do not store IP addresses against click records. Country is derived at request time and the address is not retained.
  • QR logo images never reach our servers. They are composited into your QR code inside your own browser.
  • We do not sell your data to anyone.

Retargeting pixels

If you enable pixels on a link, your own Meta, Google, or TikTok tags fire when someone clicks it, and those companies receive data under their own policies. You are responsible for disclosing this to your audience where the law requires it.

Deleting your data

You can delete any link at any time, which removes its click history. To delete your whole account, contact us and we will action it.
